Wedding photographers are just sooooo expensive so I am debating on whether or not I should just purchases about a hundred disposable camera’s and have the wedding party take the pictures. The only problem with that is what if we don’t get as many pictures of us as we’d like or what if the majority of them do not turn out. Has anyone done this? Any advice would be great.

I would have to say that it would be better to get a photographer. Nobody says that you have to get hundreds of pictures, just the important ones that you provide on a list. As to the disposable cameras: their fun, but expect a whole lot of silly, crazy, dumb pictures. Just remember, you can’t have a do-over on your wedding pictures!

I have had the same best friend for eleven years. When I got married in 2005, my husband and I eloped on an island and then threw a wedding party afterward. I didn’t invite my best friend and her husband because when I announced my engagement to them, they voiced their doubts about my future husband and were not happy for me. This hurt me alot and we didn’t talk for about 6 months, although there was no fighting or arguing involved. However, in the past year, my friend and I have recently reconnected. She came to my baby shower, family picnics, etc. At each function, I am so nervous that someone will say to her “oh, we didn’t see you at the wedding,” etc. and she will say “what wedding?” because I never mentioned to her that there was anything more than eloping because I didn’t want to ruin our friendship that was beginning to be patched up. How should I handle this short of telling people not to talk about my wedding around her?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I didn’t ask this question to get bashed.

I think that if yall have any of the same friends or live in the same town than she knows there was some kind of celebration. Dont freak out about her finding out. She hurt your feelings and I dont think you were obligated to invite her to anything celebrating your marraige. If she is really your friend she will understand and realize that that was two years ago and your rekindled friendship is now and she should be thankful.
